* Negligent maintenance and supervision of a construction site causing a plaintiff to fall into unguarded hole, resulting in total quadriplegia. Settled prior to trial for $9,000,000.

* Negligent maintenance of a garbage recycling plant and a product liability claim against the manufacturer of a conveyor system and roller resulting in crush injury with paraplegia. Settled on the eve of trial for $8,000,000 with full waiver of a workers' compensation lien totaling $1,400,000.

* Negligent design and maintenance of an off-ramp by the state of New Jersey leading to a one-car accident where a plaintiff was rendered a total quadriplegic, suffered for over four (4) years post-accident, and died. A second plaintiff sustained a closed head injury and fractures with residual effects. Settled during the second week trial for a gross amount of $7,550,000, including $7,000,000 for the estate of the most significantly injured plaintiff.

* Negligent maintenance and supervision of construction site leading to a collapse of a steel structure and injuries to a plaintiff, including burst fractures to the lower back and multiple fractures to both legs. Settled during the second week of trial for $2,800,000.

* Assault by security guard/night watchman upon homeless man resulting in death. Plaintiff's verdict of $2,250,000, remittitur granted to $750,000 and settled prior to retrial on damages only for $880,000.

* Auto negligence with four young plaintiffs where the most culpable driver had minimal insurance coverage and the other driver was killed in the accident. One of the plaintiffs sustained a closed head injury; another suffered a mid-shaft femoral fracture. * Auto negligence/wrongful death claim on behalf of a 32-year-old customs officer who suffered less than five (5) minutes of conscious pain and suffering prior to death due to an auto/motorcycle accident. Settled prior to trial for $1,650,000.

* Product liability claim against a trailer manufacturer where the defect caused the plaintiff to fall and sustain wrist and neck injuries requiring surgery. Settled prior to trial for $1,600,000.
