Car accidents are becoming almost inevitable in New Jersey

New Jersey is one of the fastest growing states in the country. People from all over the world are moving here to take advantage of the plentiful economic opportunities, wonderful entertainment and pristine beaches. However, the sudden influx of traffic means roadways across the state will be more crowded and more dangerous than ever before. Car accidents have become nearly inevitable.

A recent crash in Woodbridge resulted in the death of one driver and injured another. The crash happened on the New Jersey Turnpike near mile marker 94 during the overnight hours. According to reports, the driver of an SUV was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes and collided head-on with the front-end of an oncoming sedan.

Tragically, the driver of the sedan lost her life in the violent collision, authorities said. Reports said the driver of the SUV suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Reportedly, the roadway was closed for several hours while the scene was investigated and cleared. Police said the crash remains under investigation.

It goes without saying that a traffic accident is an event that no person wants to experience. However, statistics say that the vast majority of drivers will be involved in car accidents at some point in their lifetimes. Those in New Jersey who have been injured or suffered loss as a result of negligence in a car accident can take action by contacting a legal representative. A successful claim could provide much-needed monetary relief for victims and families who are facing medical expenses and other financial losses.
