Dawn S. DeWeil

Dawn S. DeWeil has been in practice since 1987, has tried cases in both state and federal courts and has successfully argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. She is a Civil Trial Attorney certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court. Prior to joining the law office, she ran a solo practice with offices in New York and New Jersey. Before starting her own practice, she was a managing attorney of a litigation unit at the prestigious New York firm of Schneider, Kleinick, Weitz, Damashek and Shoot. The firm merged with two other firms in August 2013. She joined the merged firm of Rubenstein, Berliner and Shinrod at its inception in August 2013 and was made a partner in August 2016.

She is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey and the U.S. District Courts in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York as well as the U.S. District Court of New Jersey. Dawn has lectured as invited faculty for the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the New Jersey Association of Justice and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.  She has made appearances on Court TV as both a guest commentator and Arthur Miller panelist.
